Through our vocal and instrumental music programs it
is our goal to expose our children to all forms of quality
music. Specifically, all NorthPointe Leadership Academy
Students will be trained using the nationally recognized
Suzuki method of instruction, vis-a-vis the use of the
keyboard. Although students would be expected to familiarize
themselves with the keyboard, they would not have to
"take this up as their instrument." Research
has clearly supported the use of and instruction in
music as its tied to reading and mathematics achievement.
We desire our students to praise and worship God through
a variety of musical opportunities.
"Praise the Lord...praise him with strings and
flute...Let everything that has breath praise the Lord"
