APPLICATION PROCESS



STEPS IN THE APPLICATION PROCESS
- KINDERGARTEN


      · Submit application. This is required for your child to be placed in the waiting
           pool, and testing.

      · Parent interview with building administrator/designee. We will call to arrange this meeting.            (Not required for current school families.)

      · Bring original birth certificate to office. (We must see the original, not a copy.)

      · Current physical and immunization records must be received before the first day of school.

      · Results of any pre-school screenings or evaluations should be submitted prior to enrollment.

      · Admissions are finalized prior to the Kindergarten Yearly Registration Roundup in March,
             and subsequently as openings occur.

      · Children must be five years old before December 2 of the entrance year. After acceptance is                   finalized, applicants will be referred to Wells Fargo Bank NPLA banking agent.



STEPS IN THE APPLICATION PROCESS
- Grades 1 - 6

      · Submit application. This is required for your child to be placed in the waiting
           pool, and testing.

      · Parent interview with student and building administrator/designee. We will call to arrange this         meeting. Please bring a copy of the latest report card and the last standardized test results, if         any in your possession.

      · Bring original birth certificate to office. (We must see the original, not a copy.)

      · Students will be given standardized pre-admission tests before final acceptance.

      · Current physical and immunization records must be received before school the student enrolls.


WAITING POOL:

Applicants on a waiting list are considered in the order they were received and dated. This includes approval from Wells Fargo Bank NPLA banking agent. The waiting pool is comprised of students who have applied for entrance to a particular grade and year. Selection for available positions is also based upon the applicant’s compatibility with the schools objectives, as well as the needs and distinctives of the class to which they seek entry. Families with currently enrolled children are considered current school families and will generally receive priority enrollment status.
