ACSI / Abeka Books / Plato Learning, Inc.

This mathematics series focuses on one visual aspect of God's creation, Life in the Seas, to connect the world the students observe to the study and acquisition of mathematical knowledge. The program encourages students to think mathematically and develop strong number sense to become skilled in math processes. Students utilize manipulatives, computer software, connections to other content areas, and math activities to learn and develop their mathematical skills. The Mathematics curriculum mirrors the requirements as set forth by the State of California Standard. NPLA accepts these standards as minimum competencies and hold higher expectations for all NPLA students.
