MATHEMATICS
ACSI / Abeka Books / Plato Learning, Inc.
The thematic focus of the second grade mathematics series
is Life in the Air. Students will enjoy learning math
concepts as they study flying things that God has created.
Mathematical concepts will be developed through the
use of manipulatives, calculators, and selected computer
software. Students will learn specific problem solving
strategies and methods to develop their computational
skills. The mathematics curriculum mirrors the requirements
as set forth by the State of California Standards department.
NPLA accepts these standards as minimum competencies
and expect our students to not only meet but exceed
the state standards across each discipline. |
