MUSIC

The music program enables students to acquire musical skills and knowledge that can be developed into a love and appreciation for music. Students learn how to listen to, read, and interpret a variety of music as they study different units. Students are challenged to explore music as an avenue to learn about God, their world, other people, and themselves. The Music curriculum mirrors the requirements as set forth by the State of California Standards department. NPLA accepts these standards as minimum competencies and expect our students to not only meet but exceed the state standards across each discipline.
