Students utilize previous scientific skills and concept
knowledge to build upon new scientific concepts. Third
graders begin an in-depth study of several units relating
to life, earth, physical and health sciences. They have
the opportunity to learn about the world and the amazing
interactions God created through activities and carefully
planned units. The Science curriculum mirrors the requirements
as set forth by the State of California Standards department.
NPLA accepts these standards as minimum competencies
and expect our students to not only meet but exceed
the state standards across each discipline.
