HANDWRITING

The fourth grade handwriting program highlights the four keys to handwriting legibility taught throughout the handwriting program. Students learn to size their letters between midlines and headlines. Four simple strokes make it easy for students to write letters with consistent and proper shape. Students learn how to position and hold their pencils so consistent slant comes with ease. Lastly, correct spacing between letters and words makes handwriting easy to read. During the year students concentrate on cursive lowercase, cursive uppercase and writing for a variety of audiences.
