4th GRADE CURRICULUM

MUSIC

The fourth grade music program identifies how music can play an important part in the lives of people across the world in both their work and play. Students experience the poetry and musical notes of such events as working on a ship as a shanty-man, selling goods in a foreign land as a street vendor, running the Chicago railroad, and much more. The exposure to a variety of music allows students to salute their country and celebrate special occasions near and far through song.
