BIBLE
Life Design Spelling, ACSI, 1992
Words of advanced vocabulary and of higher challenge
are included in the fifth grade Spelling program. Students
are encouraged to expand their vocabulary beyond the
typical word list to include current, contemporary issues
such as computers, ecology, pollution, politics, and
ethical dilemmas. Lessons are built around themes so
students can synthesize the phonetic and spelling principles
learned previously as they now spell words related by
meaning opposed to form.

- Schwa sounds
- Controlled vowels
- Consonant & vowel
