SCIENCE
ACSI / Abeka Books / Plato Learning, Inc.
Sixth graders will learn that science is not a collection
of facts but rather a process of applying observations
and intuitions to situations and problems. Students
are taught through an integrated approach of life, earth
and physical science to learn about the world around
them. During the year students will learn to think like
scientists as they study units relating to light, sound,
matter, everyday materials, solutions, motion and moving
water. Students will have the opportunity to experience
experiments and demonstrations to enrich their learning
experience.
