KINDERGARTEN CURRICULUM

ART

The students encounter a multitude of art experiences to develop personal expression through visual, tactile, spatial, and temporal elements. The classroom teacher provides opportunities to explore different mediums, enjoy creating, and appreciate art by integrating these skills into the kindergarten curriculum. Art is woven throughout the day. The Art curriculum mirrors the requirements as set forth by the State of California Standards department. NPLA accepts these standards as minimum competencies and expect our students to not only meet but exceed the state standards across each discipline.
